"I am writing to express my appreciation for the efforts of one of your agents, Joseph Haddad. I was looking for a small studio to rent, as I am in NY on business frequently. I found his name while doing an on-line search and called and left a message. He returned my call immediately and we made an appointment the following week to look at some apartments. I had called a few other realtors that day as well, and none of them bothered to return my call. Joseph’s responsiveness and professionalism was much appreciated. We talked about the size, neighborhood, and price range I was looking for and he said that he had several properties in mind for me. I was in town from Boston for only two days, so I didn’t have a lot of time to find a place. He was right on-time for the appointment at 2:00, and showed me several apartments, one in a lovely high rise in the area I had specified. The price was right, and it was a large room-just as we had talked about on the phone. He didn’t waste my time showing me places that weren’t a good fit. I chose an apartment I loved and we took a taxi over to his office to sign the paperwork. When we got there, he told me that someone else in his company had also put an application in for the same apartment. I was concerned, but said that I wanted to put ours in as well and see what happened. He agreed to do his very best to help me secure the unit I wanted. He was very resourceful and accommodating as he had to fax the appropriate paperwork to my husband in Boston and wait for his fax in return. I printed up bank statements, and arranged for a wire transfer of fees. He worked quickly to get all the documents in so we would have a better shot at getting the apartment. His attention to detail made a big difference. I left at 5:30 and hoped for the best. Joseph was in constant contact with me about the progress of the application over the next few days, and word finally came through that we got it! Most realtors would have moved on at that point, but Joseph went above and beyond to help with the transition. He hand delivered a letter to the doorman of the building regarding the date of my move, and made sure I knew the rules about booking the moving elevator in the building in advance, furnishing me with the contact phone number for the doorman. He also requested that they put blinds up in the unit before I moved in. The day of the move was stressful as the movers were late, but finally I was in the apartment unpacking my things and noticed that they had put the blinds up as Joseph requested. Just then my phone beeped with a new text. It was Joseph asking me how the move went. With so many other clients and responsibilities, I don’t know of any realtor who would have taken the time to check in with me like that. If you are looking for a realtor who will give you the kind of service I describe above, Joseph is your man. He’s honest, reliable, and caring. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my experience!"
